Goodybye 2013

As I post my last stitching post of the year I am happily looking forward to new patterns, fabric and many more projects.

I started these 2 pictures before Christmas and I am determined to finish them before I pick up any other project.

 The weather here has been all over the place sometimes bone chilling cold -48 with wind chill and then windy and +6. the fog did make some beautiful trees though

and also time to start slowly putting away the christmas decorations.

Thanksgiving update

here in Canada it is Thanksgiving weekend and a sunny beautiful one it is.I hope this week I will finish the scales and move on up. All the gaps on the fins are for beads, there are a lot of beads on this gal. For those that are celebrating I hope you have a wonderful visit with family and friends

Finally I can see the tail, I was getting a little bit bogged down but it is amazing what seeing a picture can do for the mojo.

Also did some stitching on the Red Snowman. I am not to thrilled with the coverage, the instructions called for just one thread but I will stitch some with 2 threads and see what happens. Might be a whole lot of frogging in my future.

Enchanted Mermaid Week 4

well in my opinion this is not looking very fishy yet. maybe next week I just got this project from Shepherds Bush so I need to find time to stitch it.The mats were made by Jill Rensel.....so excited to get this one

Week 3 Enchanted Mermaid

The beads and krenik arrived on Friday so I think this week I will fill in the gaps.

Sometime this week I will start this one, no color changes here it is all black.
