and this is a fun piece, it is the trick or treat fairy from Mirabilia.
See you soon

Aug

Here is my progress on Stargazer. The picture is not that great because I do not have q-snaps large enough for her.Now that I am getting closer to having her stitched I am starting to think of my next project which is the logo for the Edmonton Oilers hockey that my little grandson wants.

Summer Fun
Almost the end of August and soon the kids are back to school.
But first we had some more adventures.
We played mini-golf and then we went to a farm and met some new friends.
This one had her ears back apparently she didn’t like those shades.
Yum those treats are good
possibly a future cook and getting lessons from our senior cook.
and lots of hugs from Grandpa
and I even had some time to do some stitching

supercalifragiliceticexpialidociousI
I went to Edmonton for a few days and I saw the Broadway Musical Mary Poppins, and then spent some time at Fort Edmonton
and there is a really neat barn there, it is completely round.
and then the kids found some weird masks in one of the shops.
today I decided to do some organizing....beads were first.
and then I sorted out some floss skeins and at the end of the day I had done a lot
and because this is a stitching blog here is an update on Stargazer

If
If there is an award for lazy blogger it should be given to me.
I do have a finish to show
This is The Spring Fairy by Joan Elliott.
And this is an almost finish
and this one is no where near being finished but it is my current project.
The summer here has been one of the best I have seen for a long time, truly it is one of those long hot lazy days of summer every day.

a few wrinkles
she has a few wrinkles in the fabric but she looks okay. I think I will try to find some trees or maybe a snowman for the piece just to add a little more color.

I gave up
I resisted as long as I could but I gave in, here is my first start of the year These patterns are from the Joan Elliott book Bewitching Cross Stitch and there are 4 words to stitch, Imagine, Dreams, Hope and Believe.I am stitching on a 32ct Solo from Silkweaver.
Still working on the ornaments, I wish the glitz would show up, there is a lot of Krenik in this piece. And that's what I have done this week and so from me and my best critic in the world have a great stitching week
